What Readers are Saying

* * * * * Wonderful ending to the series!!! “Loved loved loved this book. It was a wonderful book to end the Widows of Wildcat Ridge series. This book is about Mortimer ‘s wife. It gives insight into what happened that changed Mortimer into the man everyone had to deal with in Wildcat Ridge. I really hate to see this series end, as I have enjoyed getting to know the residents of Wildcat Ridge.” ~ Paula

* * * * * A great ending to a great series. “I love Charlene’s characters and she always has a great story to tell. I liked that she ended the series with the wife of the town’s nemesis. I don’t want to give too much away for those who haven’t read it yet. Ophelia and Brody were in love twenty years ago, but became separated due to Mortimer’s devious ways. Twenty years later they meet again in Wild Cat Ridge and rekindle their love. But Ophelia is now married to Mortimer Crane, though she is seeking a divorce. Much drama plays out between the characters. Great series.” ~ Tina Foster

* * * * * Wildcat Ridge at its best! “Ophelia is a fast moving story with several unexpected twists. She is a bigger than life character who is not afraid to make changes in sleepy Wildcat Ridge. She is compassionate with a free spirit. She is the one person strong enough to take on her husband, Mortimer Crane. There is a dichotomy between these two vital characters that creates tension throughout the novel. It is delightful to see other characters from previous stories in this finale of the Widows of Wildcat Ridge. A mystery is created around the character of Brody Duvall that is made just for Ophelia to solve. She is a woman that the townspeople are all set to hate, but find themselves loving after they meet her. A great culmination story, Ophelia gives the prodigious ending that everyone has been waiting for. A masterfully written novel of sublime characters, Ms. Raddon weaves a tale worthy of being a classic!” ~ Belinda Wilson

* * * * * Perfect wrap up! “I love a great finish and Ophelia’s story is absolutely spot on! The people in this book draw you right in, and their inter-actions with all the situations that unfold feel so real that you’re right there with them. I will not give away anything because I hope everyone will read this book. The ending will have you re-reading! The best book in the series turns out to be the last book in the series:) The others are great, too. You know what I mean.” ~ Kindle Customer

* * * * * Absolutely Perfect “Ophelia was the perfect ending to an amazing series! She was the woman we all want to dislike but can’t help but love. Her story was perfectly written so that we could all first feel the pain she experienced followed by the happiness she deserved. Loved it!” 4theloveofmath
