* * * * * Looking for intrigue and fun, it’s in this book….. “This book is a historical western with romance, intrigue, mystery and unending story-line. Each chapter brought something new. The author developed the characters so well that I felt I was actually part of the story. Jenna was a young woman looking for her father who had left the family years ago. Along with the adventure, she worked for Pinkerton looking for wanted killers. An old Indian friend, Charley Long Bow taught her how to shoot with a gun as well as bow and arrow; use a knife; build camp fires and use this knowledge to stay alive. Along the way she met Branch McCauley who was also hunting certain men who had killed his brother. There are twists and turns in this book that keep you reading on and on into the night. I found myself trying to solve mysteries and ways for poor Jenna when she got herself into trouble, to get out unscathed. All this suspense was in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area and surrounding mining areas. I enjoyed the story and highly recommend this book.
